Therapeutic Massage: Beyond Relaxation
Why Deep Knowledge of the Body Makes All the Difference
Therapeutic massage is not just about applying pressure—it’s about knowing where, why, and how to work on the body to relieve pain, restore function, and support long-term healing. At PIROM Therapeutic Massage, we approach every session with the mindset of a practitioner who understands the musculoskeletal system, not just a massage therapist.

The Enriching World of Thai Massage
Thai Massage, also known as Traditional Thai Massage or Ancient Thai Massage, is a form of therapeutic massage aimed at providing therapeutic touch. During a session, the recipient lies flat on a mat or mattress on the floor, while the masseuse applies techniques such as squeezing, kneading, and pressing along the body's lines to stimulate internal organs and enhance muscle flexibility. Thai massage therapists use hands, fingertips, palms, elbows, forearms, and even feet to massage muscles, involving more body movement than other massage types.
Despite its name, Thai Massage shares similarities with traditional Chinese medicine,
“believing in the flow of energy throughout the body”
Massage techniques aim to improve energy flow and blood circulation.
